Modern, spacious practice
Corona Virus – Tempory Closure
We are making preparations for when we are permitted to re-open for routine eye examinations. There is no indication yet from optometrist’s governing bodies as to when this might be, so for now we are still open just for urgent and emergency care.
We will be doing extended test times to allow time for safe practice, infection control and changing of our personal protective care, and will be operating behind a locked door. Everything including collections and repairs will have to be done by appointment so we can be sure there is no more than one patient in the reception area at any one time.
We will make every effort to make your visit as safe as possible.
Keep a look out on our website and on our Facebook page for further updates.
In the mean time, please phone if you have any queries. We will do what we can to help.
More than just sight tests, we provide eye care
At Robert Hughes Eyecare believe in providing tailor made, comprehensive examinations, unbiased advice and exemplary service and aftercare, all in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Pop in to their friendly practice and find out more!
Eyecare for all the Family
Unlike some high street opticians, at Robert Hughes Eyecare we think there should be no minimum age for a sight test. The sooner problems are detected the easier they are to treat. Therefore we recommend a child’s first sight test is between the ages of 6 months and three years old, however we will test a child of any age if there are concerns about their sight.
We will give you the time and the advice you deserve
Why follow the flock? At Robert Hughes Eyecare our experienced optical assistants will help you choose a frame which suits your face and your character, guiding you to the best looking glasses for you.
